THE LP OUT THIS FRIDAY 12/11 WILL BE THE LAST OF THE BURNOUT SERIES

LNDN DRGS, the formidable hip hop duo of street legend Jay Worthy and producer Sean House started their G-Funk / West Coast-inspired Burnout series in 2015. Until now, the Burnouts have consisted of 2-packs and EPs, and today, the duo announce the first (and last) Burnout LP - Burnout 4. The album features guests Smoke DZA, Larry June, Serv-On, ElCamino, Michael Christmas, Chuck Inglish, Stalley, and Boldy James. The nine-track offering continues in the tradition of Worthy's nonchalant flows over the oldies he grew up listening to, marked by the starting pistol of a burner phone ring tone. Along with the announcement comes a new video for the Burnout 4 album mix featuring a prolonged cameo from the Dipset icon Jim Jones. Shot in Harlem Worthy explains "I got a lot of love in Harlem. That shit like my 2nd home and been like that for years. Been coming out here since Yams was around and even before that so it only made sense to show how both sides is rocking for my first video of burnout4 now that I live uptown." To mark the end of the series, LNDN DRGS also enlisted skits from New York actor Michael Rapaport, whose appreciation of hip hop has been recognized and utilized by the likes of Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, Sean Price, and more.

Jay Worthy - the Compton rapper living in Harlem, who was discovered by ASAP Yams in 2011 has since solidified his name and legend via the cosigns of Kendrick Lamar, Suge Knight, G-Perico, Westside Gunn, Cee Lo Green, Freeway Ricky Ross, Kurupt among others. He's amassed a note-worthy discography through his solo and collaborative endeavors working with The Alchemist, Left Brain, Curren$y, DJ Mustard, Schlomo, Cardo, and more. The sunset of the Burnout series will mark a shift for Worthy heading into 2021 as he leans into solo music for what will be an exciting year.
