Collaboration and inclusivity have been major building blocks for Rich Jones’ music career thus far.
The Chicago rapper/singer has collaborated on various tracks with some of the city’s most well-known and respected artists, including Supa Bwe, Taylor Bennett, The O’My’s, Nnamdi Ogbonnaya and many more. He is also in charge of booking a monthly showcase, which gives a platform and venue to up-and-coming emcees as well as established artists to perform.
On his latest music video – ”DUFFLE,” the opening cut to his recent collaborative EP with producer Vapor Eyes – he finds a new form of collaboration by casting fellow Chicago musicians in the action-packed visuals.
The video stars disco-influenced emcee Ric Wilson, dancehall singer/rapper Osa North and golden era torchbearer Joey Price.
“DUFFLE” was directed by Stripmall Productions (who also recently released phenomenal visuals for Qari), and it was influenced by British heist films.
